Who is this for?
At South West Sydney Physiotherapy, we provide physiotherapy for any golfer who wants to perform at their best – from a social round with mates, to those aspiring for the PGA tour.
Our golf physiotherapy service is ideal for golfers of all levels who want to move better, reduce pain, and improve performance on the course. Whether you’re dealing with persistent back, shoulder, or hip pain, returning from injury, or simply looking to increase swing efficiency and distance, this service is built for you. It’s also perfect for golfers who feel restricted in their movement, struggle with consistency, or want a body-specific approach to improving their game.
You don’t need to be a professional golfer to receive elite-level care.
What we do
We combine physiotherapy expertise with TPI Level 1 & 2 Medical certification to assess how your body influences your golf swing. Your session includes:
- A detailed physical screening
- Movement analysis
- Identification of any limitations affecting performance or contributing to injury.
From there, we create a tailored plan that may include hands-on treatment, mobility and strength work, and golf-specific exercise programming. The goal is simple: help you move freely, swing efficiently, and play without pain.

Why see us as a Golf Physio?
3D motion capture tech
Coming soon to our clinic, Sportsbox AI 3D motion capture technology will allow us to analyse your golf swing with unmatched precision. Using markerless 3D tracking, we can break down how your body moves through each phase of the swing, identifying limitations and inefficiencies that aren’t visible to the naked eye. This advanced data helps us create highly targeted treatment and performance programs to improve your swing, reduce injury risk, and maximise results
Certified by Titliest
As a TPI Level 1 & 2 Medical Certified Physiotherapist, your care is aligned with the same principles used at the highest level of the game. 18 of the last 20 major championships were won by players working with a TPI-certified expert, and 25 of the top 30 players in the world rely on TPI guidance. With 48 of Golf Digest’s top 50 fitness professionals also TPI certified, this approach represents the gold standard in golf performance and injury management – bringing tour-level insight directly into your assessment, treatment, and training.
Muscle Force Technology
We use advanced assessment technology to take the guesswork out of your golf physiotherapy. Tools such as the Muscle Meter and MAT assessment system – along with force plates (coming soon) – allow us to measure strength, power, asymmetries, and movement quality specific to your golf swing. This objective data helps us identify exactly what’s limiting your performance or contributing to pain, so we can target it with precision. Your results are tracked over time, allowing us to refine your program and clearly measure your progress back to peak performance on the course.
Fully Stocked Gym & Treadmill
We also have a fully equipped gym space within the clinic, allowing your golf physiotherapy to progress seamlessly from hands-on treatment to golf-specific strength and conditioning. This means we can coach movement patterns relevant to your swing, safely load your exercises, and guide you from early rehabilitation through to performance-focused training-all in one place.
